I haven’t been blogging too much lately cuz we’ve been pretty busy, but since we’ve been so busy it means I have tons of pictures to put up and things I want to blog about! So I’ll be trying to catch up over the next few days.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the Puyallup Fair. So Much Fun! I love the Fair, and if you live in Western Washington and haven’t got to the Fair, either ever or in a long time, I strongly suggest you go. It’s worth the overpriced ticket and rides and food, at least once, anyway. We always go with my parents – tons of fun to hang out with them, plus we get free baby-sitting. ;) Thanks Dad, for watching Lily and Michael while we went on rides!
Lily was big enough to go on a couple rides. She acted kind of terrified of the giant slide, but at the end she said it was fun. I think she enjoyed seeing the animals more than the rides, though. Her favorite were the pigs. One of the pigs had just had a litter of piglets the day before. They were so cute and little, and Lily loved them. We had to go back after seeing them once because she kept asking for “Pigs, nursing!” It was pretty cute. She still talks about them, actually – she’ll tell me all the animals we saw at the fair, and when she gets to the pigs, it’s always, “Pigs, nursing!”
Michael was a sport, as always. He enjoyed hanging out in his stroller, took regular naps, and was basically a very amiable companion. Gotta love his mellow and calm personality.
Look at that! Within moments of the car starting along the track, this little boy put his arm around Lily, and then swooped in and start kissing her! And kept kissing her the entire ride!! It was soooo funny, until the end, when right as the ride was coming to a stop they both started crying. I’m not sure what happened, but my theory is that she got tired of it and bit him. :) It was (almost) the funniest thing that happened at the fair! (You know what I’m talking about Mom!)
By the way, these were all taken with my canon point and shoot. Didn’t have the new camera yet.

That poor mama pig. I can't even imagine. And wow, look at Lily. Growing so fast and finding herself a boy-toy. :) Too cute.
